What we process

• Server log files. This site is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 101 2nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA. Netlify records each request to the server, including your IP address, the pages and files requested, the date and time, the amount of data transferred, your browser type and version, your operating system and the referring page. This is necessary to deliver the site and to keep it secure and available. Legal basis: legitimate interests, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
• Contact form. The contact form is provided by Netlify Forms. The name, email address and message you enter are transmitted to and stored by Netlify, and made available to us so that we can answer your enquiry. Legal basis: legitimate interests, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, and pre-contractual measures, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
• Dark mode preference. Your theme choice is stored in your browser's local storage. It stays on your device and is never transmitted to us.

Netlify processes this data on our behalf under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). Netlify is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (list of certified organisations), so transfers to the USA take place on the basis of the European Commission's adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR). We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to object to processing, to withdraw consent, to obtain information about and a copy of your data, to have it corrected or erased, to have its processing restricted, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Articles 15 to 21 GDPR set these out in full; the German privacy policy describes them in detail.
